I'm leaving for court again in a few minutes. Hopefully this is the last time. My dad called me on Sunday to say that the lawyers for the other side wrote last week requesting a postponement. This is after we wrote to them in March asking them to let us know in advance if they'd be ready or not, as I'd have to come down from Jhb for this. They didn't respond to that. And at the pre-trial thingie two weeks ago, they indicated that they'd be ready to proceed.
My attorney wrote back telling them that we would not be interested in a postponement, given that they'd already had ample time to inform us of any delays. Also, this is the third time I'm going to court now. The actual accident happened around 3 1/2 years ago. They'd have to be especially incompetent to still not be prepared after all this time. We're thinking that they know they don't have a case, so they're trying to postpone indefinitely until I get fed up and just settle.
